Cheese Aging Room

Whitestone Cheese have been globally recognised and awarded for their incredible local milk produce around the world, and have made Wet Jacket wines their Queenstown habitat.

The Cheese Aging Room at Wet Jacket is open everyday during Cellar Door times (CLICK HERE for seasonal times)
Stocking exclusively Whitestone Cheese you can come in daily to taste the delicious daily samples of the their range, fully matured and cut straight from the artisanal rounds of cheese, while experiencing all that Wet Jacket has to offer.

Our Cheese Room is open every day of the year (except Christmas Day, Good Friday, Easter Sunday and Anzac Day) from 10am to 5pm. 
Please note that from time to time due to weather or pre-booked events at the Woolshed we may be closed outside of these days and times. 

Reservation is not required but unfortunately we cannot cater for groups over 6 in the cellar door. 

Just like wine, cheese is also a provincial product. The essence of Whitestone focuses on local milk produced on "sweet" limestone country as the key ingredient to Whitestone's distinct cheese character.
The subtle flavours that belong to Whitestone reflect the quality of the land, grass and water that gives rise to them. Clear, clean and tangy - a reflection of the windswept coast and the powerful hills that frame a landscape of green serenity.
